TCCM ATELIER

‘This is not a Factory, this is a tailor shop.’
TheConcrete creates in its own atelier.
Time is not a problem to me, to dedicate the necessary time to each process ensures the best dedication and thus the best results.
My bespoke garments are created one by one.
I care for every detail and our client ́s needs that is why visiting our tailor shops is a unique experience. This feeling is remarked when each garment is finished and delivered personally, this is what guarantees the absence of mass production.

1. Measurements.
In a first meeting for discussing your needs, you will choose the design and the fabrics we will use for your garment. He will also take your measurements.
Then starts the fabric cut from your measurements, as TheConcrete do not use basic patterns. Once your garment is basted we see each other again. Please advice that this process will take us an hour.
2. Fitting.
To ensure the garment fits perfect on your body, make corrections if needed. This is the most important part of the process and you should end the fitting completely sure that the corrections we made are the ones your garment need.
Rarely a second fitting is needed, but if we there is few corrections, we will find it necessary.
3. Correction.
The garment is removed and corrected, the corrected pattern is stored in cardboard for future orders with the client name. And finally proceeds to sew and do all hand finished details, button holes, labels…, etc. The garment is delivered over.
The estimated process time is 20 business days.

RUGGED TAILOR
-
Fernando García de la Calera (Madrid, 1983) starts his carrier as a designer in 2007 creating TheConcrete Company Madrid, an extension of his curiosity and hobbies. At first, TCCM creates designs for skateboards and T-shirts, but soon it evolves towards urban clothing in general based on durability and comfort.
Creating samples, Fernando’s interest in tailoring awakens and he starts a learning process leading to the opening of his fist tailor shop in 2012.
He continues using the fabrics he always used, specialising in denim, having quality and exclusiveness as main goals.
TCCM is the natural evolution of Fernando’s interests and passions, both in his style and his creating process
